Romantic Functioning and Depressive Symptoms Among Early Adolescent Girls: The Moderating Role of Parental Emotional Availability

"This study tested associations between adolescent romantic functioning and depressive symptoms and predicted that adolescents with emotionally unavailable parents would be most likely to show an association between poor romantic functioning and depressive symptoms. Data collected from 80 early adolescent nonreferred girls (average age of 13.45; SD = .68) and their mothers supported predictions. A higher frequency of romantic experiences (e.g., going on dates) and poor romantic competence were each associated with higher levels of current depressive symptoms. Moreover, these associations were most strong for girls with emotionally unavailable parents."

O Mito de Sísifo - A Liberdade e a Justiça

"A revolução do século XX separou arbitrariamente, para fins desmesurados de conquista, duas noções inseparáveis. A liberdade absoluta mete a justiça a ridículo. A justiça absoluta nega a liberdade.

Five Easy Pieces (1970)

"A drop-out from upper-class America picks up work along the way on oil-rigs when his life isn't spent in a squalid succession of bars, motels, and other points of interest."

" The film is an intense character study of an alienated, misfit drifter who seems to have no specific direction or place in life. Jack Nicholson brings to life Robert Dupea, a man who has considerable natural musical talent, but has rejected that life and his family who is also musically talented. There are hints throughout the film that Robert had great promise as a concert pianist if only he had stuck with it. He contains many of the creative personality characteristics that would predispose him to musical greatness. Psychologists who study creativity have found that generally creative people contain a number of specific personality characteristics. Robert contains many of them, but has generally abandoned creating anything."

Tudo Vigiado por Máquinas de Adorável Graça - All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace (2011)

A Armadilha – O Que Aconteceu ao Nosso Sonho de Liberdade / The Trap: What Happened to Our Dream of Freedom (2007)

O Século do Eu (2002)
